Club Christmas Razz
Just a quick reminder that the annual Christmas Razz is on Saturday (Dec 19th), after the 1st Team game at home to Llantwit Fardre. Meet in the Ath after the game and a pub crawl in Cardiff is on the cards. Everyone more than welcome, so lets see Coaches, Players, Supporters. Saturday Clubbers all making a night of it.

All the best to Jon Rees for getting married on Friday Dec 4th - 6 halfs I think is called for. He hasn't done them yet, so this weekend is as good time as any I think!!!

Just wanted to say thanks to the nine boys who came training last night. It is dissapointing that we have 1st, 2nd and a youth team and all we can manage is just nine players out of a possible 45. Excluding Wallace, Stevie Training, Noddy Holder the attitude to training from second team and youth team players is disgusting. The club are paying a lot of money for facilities for us all to train on a Monday and a Thursday and I think the least you players could do is to make at least one of the training nights. If myself and Quinny don't get to see you train, how can we possibly introduce you to the 1st team squad. TRAINING THIS THURSDAY 8PM TO 9.30PM AT TONYREFAIL COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL. Just to let you know, if you don't make at least one training session during the week, I think its fair to ask you to contribute £3 each towards the hire of the facility if you want to play on a Saturday.

Totally agree with everything Phil and Del have already said boys. It is committment and work-rate like that, coupled with the abundance of talent that we have in the side, that will get us results week in, week out.
Anyway, if you fancy a laugh, have a look at Cwmaman's match report from Saturday on the link below. I dont know who writes their reports, but he must have our game mixed up with another game, when he talks about their 'numerous' chances iand dictating play during the 2nd half, dont make me laugh!! They forgot to mention that their keeper kept them in it and they couldnt have complained if they had lost by 3 or 4 in the end.

Good win yesterday, lads and a really good second half for 35 minutes of it. Should have been a lot easier for the last 10 minutes if we had taken our chances. Like Watson said, there is still a lot to come from us. We should be going in to every game knowing we can win. We have things still to work on in training, so make sure your all there this week. Well done lads. See you Monday

Great win for the club yesterday lad's, it was an excellent team performance, well done. It's now vital that we take that attitude to every single game in order to climb the table. We can still play much better than that as we all know!!!
As for operation egg bombers after the game, i still can't believe Havard didn't shoot one of the little f*****s!!
I'm off now to nurse my groins, always said Lisa would come in handy for something!!! YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHAAAA

Pontyclun 3 - Risca Utd 1
Not very often that I am unhappy after a win boys, but we really have to make sure that we dont perform that badly as a team ever again!
I cant remember a game where our passing was that bad, so lets make sure that we learn from it, move on and up our game significantly for next week's game at Cwmaman.
Lets put it right in training, Monday 7-9pm and Thursday 8 -9.30pm
By the way, Dayo - what a mental goal!!! Take a bow!!

Well done Quinny. Thank god you've sorted out that Spam stuff. It was doing my head in!!!.
Come on boys please!!!. Got to sort Pentwyn out tomorrow.

Quinny is right boys, lets not get carried away with this result. We need to have the same attitude every time we train or play. We are expecting another couple of players to come back into the squad over the next couple of weeks plus we are also looking to recruit a few players to give us that competition for places in every position. Like we say lads, play for shirt for the next game. Now lets get on a mental run. Tidy

Great to see a win on the weekend lads. Lets keep up the good work and see you all in training this week!

Lad's
Superb attitude, teamwork & result yesterday, we fully deserved the 3pts and could/should have scored more! Let's keep the ball rolling and ensure that we take the momentum into next week. The benchmark is now set & we need to make sure that we win our bread 'n' butter games in order to have a good season. Don't get cocky or complaicent!
Have a nice Christmas

Lazy Journo's eh pinch half your match reports and cant be bothered and that was Terry Phillips, ha ooh well hope its not long before we can say it but cant see Llwydcoed winning it ..AFC Porth grabbed their first win in the top flight ? extending their unbeaten home run which stretches back to April 2007.
Porth were promoted to Division One as runners-up to Division Two champions AFC Llwydcoed.
And they grabbed their first win of the season with a 3-2 win over UWIC, Gavin Corry scoring the 74th-minute winner.
But Porth, who gave a debut to David Avery, were far from satisfied with their performance and will have to be much sharper in attack and meaner at the back if they are to continue to match the high standards they have set over the last two seasons.
Two of the leading teams met at Jenner Park with Barry Town, who finished third last season, and rivals Goytre United drawing 2-2.
porth in the 1st div??? it would only be in the south wales echo lol
